4D Sequencer is a desktop app that plays a construction schedule on a 3D model. This page explains what happens to your information when you use it. In short: your files and project data stay on your computer.

Your project files

Models, schedules, drawings, links, saved views and reports are opened and processed on your own computer. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. Files you export (PowerPoint, Excel, web reports, videos, project files) are saved where you choose.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking and no advertising.

When you buy a licence

Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), the seller of record, under Polar's privacy policy. We never see your card details. Polar shares with us your name, email address, country, any company details you enter, and the name you want on the licence. We use these only to create and email your licence key, to provide invoices and support, and to keep the sales records the law requires. We do not sell or share them with anyone else.

The "Buy" buttons in the app simply open the payment page in your web browser. The app itself sends nothing.

Licence key

When you activate a licence, the key and the name and email address written inside it are checked and stored on your computer only. Activation works offline. Nothing is sent to us.

Internet connections

• No connections of its own: 4D Sequencer does not connect to the internet by itself. Everything it needs, including its fonts, is inside the app.
• Update check: only if you enter an update address in Settings and press "Check for a new version" does the app read a small version file from that address.
• Microsoft Store: if you install 4D Sequencer from the Microsoft Store, Microsoft handles the download and updates under Microsoft's privacy statement.

Children

4D Sequencer is a professional tool for the construction industry and is not aimed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
